Story makers (written text)

Use StoryKit to write some text, illustrate it by drawing on the screen, taking or inserting photos from the library (you can transfer photos to the library from an iCloud service such as Dropbox). You could also create your own illustrations on paper and photograph the image. You can record a narration and the layout elements of your story can be dragged, pinched and altered with ease. You can add a single voice recording to a page or do separate recordings for each sentence. You can also add the text in sections. Click here to see what a finished story looks like online . You could put a captured image of the front page of each story into an online environment such as a wiki and then link the URL to the image. For that reason, I wouldn't put a sound file on the front page. NEEDS UPDATING TO iOS 11

While intended to support users of English, teachers or students can record their own sentences in the target language by describing images (ones included in the app or their own images). Students listen to the recording and then drag and drop individual words in place to form the sentence. Teachers can make the activity more challenging by adding additional (incorrect) words. As well as recording entire sentences, teachers can also record the sound of individual words so that students can listen to them as they click on each one.
